Blame it all on bad luck

I guess I got stuck 

In a really bad part of this game 

I was the last one to roll, the first in the hole 

Well, I lose every time all the same

I continued my quest on Community Chest

Well maybe this game's not that hard

But misfortune rang true, and now I'll share with you

Just what it said on that card...

Well, I got pushed back three spaces

All my friends were laughing, making mean faces

Why can't I be free...from Monopoly

Yeah, I'll start filing bankruptcy cases

Cause I bet I'll land on Park Place

Yeah, I got sent back...three spaces

It's like a bad dream, I just want to scream 

When that game comes down from the shelf 

My opponent's to thank, he has to run the bank 

And give interest free loans to himself 

We continued to dance, I landed on Chance 

The message was nothing real new

And I don't have to show, cause I bet you all know 

Just what that card told me to do

It takes weeks just to set up the board
