Went back to our old apartment

This is where we used to live

Broken oven, broken drier, broken knobs on broken doors

This is where we used to live

Why must we hear our neighbors

Talk dirty through the wall

Why do parts of our ceiling cave in and randomly fall

And, one day, I am hopiní weíll get our windows to open

Theyíve been jammed shut since we moved in a year or two ago

Went back to our old apartment

Painted beautifully in gray

Weíre not lonely, bugs and insects keep us company at night

Why is our shower brown

Why canít we get it clean

Whatís with our refrigeratorÖhow on earth does milk turn green

This is where we used to live

No cool air in the summer, and no heat in the winter

I should not have to wear my snow pants when I get into bed

Well Iím glad that we moved out of there

The stench from our bathroom filled the air

Flush the toilet, now thereís water everywhere

Itís three feet deep

This is where we used to live

Broke into the old apartment

Our landlords are never home

Can not help you, on vacation, skiing in the Alps this week

I wonít go back
